Texture and more texture is the world I live in when painting. It reminds me of the many layers of a bountiful life. I want the viewer to touch the art piece, to sense all the layered elements that have been put down on the canvas. I consider myself an abstract artist primarily using bold colours and lots of texture. Whether I am working on a small scale piece that might be more experimental or a larger canvas for greater expression of feelings and colour, trying something new can lead me down a path I have never explored. Wonderful surprises are always revealed.

As the saying goes: It’s never too late to start something new.
