Tracy Armstrong channels her passion for colour, movement, and layers to create textured and expressive abstract art. She is drawn to the natural line formations of earth and rocks, the movement of water, and the beautiful earth tones of Canada’s changing seasons. She loves looking at natures shapes and patterns from a new perspective, and incorporating these elements into her artwork. Found objects, recycled materials, acrylic paint and more are all full of potential and inspiration. Tracy intuitively follows the materials lead allowing the painting to transform, emerge and ultimately reveal natures simplicity and abundance.


Tracy paints in her studio in Ottawa, her cottage in the Land-of-Lakes region of Ontario, and she brings her studio with her on her travels, always inspired by new destinations. Her art hangs in private and corporate collections across Canada and the United States.
