Viviane Bergevin's newest collection explores abstracted landscapes, utilizing muted palettes and broad, sweeping texture. This series is an obvious contrast to her previous work which depicted defined, thinly layered mountains in vibrant hues.
A Change of Perspective refers to both the difference in style seen in this series, but also the difference in how Viviane views landscape itself. The past few years have brought plenty of time outdoors, appreciating nature and our surroundings. In her new series we see a more contemplative, moody and transcendental version of her daily views.
