Julie A. Bell is a contemporary mixed media artist from Windsor, Ontario. Julie works primarily in mixed media collage, applied to canvas or glass, creating both wall art and decorative and functional glass art. Her unique and eclectic imagery is rooted in the exploration of social concepts, scientific theory and natural and man-made environments. Using found materials, handmade paper, acrylics and inks, Julie carefully constructs compositions that are full of energetic colour and layered meaning.

Julie holds both a Bachelor of Fine Arts in printmaking and a Master of Fine Arts in printmaking and drawing. She has worked as an illustrator, graphic designer and instructor in the U.S. and Canada. Her work is held in private collections across the world including the United States, Germany, England, Hungary, Japan, South Africa and India.
