"Texture is the world I live in when painting. It reminds me of the many layers of a bountiful life. I want the viewer to touch the art piece, to sense all the layered elements that have been put down on canvas. I consider myself an abstract artist primarily, using bold colours with lots of layers and texture. Whether working small or large, I love to experiment with my materials and wonderful surprises are always revealed."
